Business owned by former Chairman of Ayurvedic Medicine Department at Bastyr University, the top alternative medicine school in the country. (Ayurveda is a nutrition-based medical/healthcare system from India.) The business was sold in 2006 after achieving outstanding financial success.

Led the alternative medicine school's web site from non-functional - outdated content, non-optimized brand image, non-functional shopping cart, less than 10 visitors per day - to a Top 100,000 Site Ranking on the Internet - a ranking higher than 99.9% of all sites on the Internet (Alexa.com, 2nd quarter, 2005). Performed final editing on all of the school's marketing materials: Rewrote all site content and hardcopy marketing materials, including the Academic Course Catalog, Admissions Application and the Products Catalog, to develop the marketing materials and web site into highly successful sales tools for the business.

Produced all content and web coding to enable online enrollment in the school's educational courses resulting in online sales per transaction of up to $11,000 per order.

Changed site from a business card format to portal format: resulting in a broader selection of site content, significantly increased traffic, increased online sales, and an increased number of new student leads and Web-based student enrollments.

Developed and maintained detailed Internet marketing action plans, Internet marketing events calendars and a database of Internet marketing partner sites. Developed systems to support enhanced communication and follow-up with marketing partner sites and highly relevant sales leads.

21st Century Educational Path:
My method of learning is very similar (almost identical) to the description of Thomas Edison's learning style. My intellectual strengths and motivational personality factors are also very similar, and my educational path was also very similar (highly individualized). After sufficient standard academic training (in three majors: mechanical engineering, nutrition/natural healthcare, and web design/Internet marketing) and completing enough college credits for a master's degree, I focused on pursuing extensive individual studies in my fields of interest.
